Book Club

Have you ever wanted to talk about a book you’ve read with someone? Well, now you have the chance. The Library is hosting a book discussion club on selected Saturdays at the library, 2300 Stuyvesant Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08618.

Karen Carson, staff member of the Library for the Blind and Handicapped, will lead the discussion. The book to be discussed will be Dean Koontz’s novel, The Good Guy. In it, Timothy Carrier is having a beer at a local bar when a stranger hands him an envelope full of cash to kill a woman in a photograph. Minutes later the actual hit man approaches Tim, placing him in a moral dilemma.

Cassette copies of The Good Guy are available by calling the library’s Readers Services Division at: 800-792-8322. Copies of the next book selection will be available at the June meeting.

Meetings are planned for June, September and December; exact dates to be announced.

 Friends of the Library
The Friends meet the first Saturdays in June and December for their general meeting at the Library for the Blind and Handicapped, Trenton, NJ 08618.

We would not be able to provide programs such as The Fall Festival or offer described videos without the support of the Friends of the Library. Their financial support allows us to buy large print books and fund special programs such as the Summer Reading Program and American Sign Language Story Hour.
