The print-handicapped are those individuals who are unable to use conventional print because of a visual impairment, a physical disability or a reading disability.
To receive service, obtain and complete the application form (there are links to it at the end of this page). Have it signed by a physician, a librarian, a teacher, a social worker, or a registered nurse. In the case of a reading disability, the application must be signed by a physician or an osteopath.

When we receive the completed application form, the Library will send you a
shipment of books and a tape player.
All books are sent in self-mailing containers. All you have to do to return the books is turn the address card over. The books and equipment require no postage. They are mailed "Free Matter for the Blind or Handicapped."
